Admission Procedure
B.Tech Admission:
The minimum qualification for admission into first year of the B.Tech course (CSE, ECE, EEE, Mechanical,
Civil) is, the candidate has to pass in the Intermediate (10 + 2) conducted by the board of Intermediate education, Govt. of
Andhra Pradesh or any other equivalent examination recognized by board of intermediate education, Government of A.P thereto with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects.
• 70 % of the seats are allotted based on the merit in the Engineering and Medical Common Entrance
Test (EAMCET) conducted by Govt. of Andhra Pradesh.
• 30 % of the seats are earmarked for Management / NRI candidates.
• In addition to the above, Diploma holders are admitted in second year of B.Tech to the extent of 10% of
intake based on the merit in the Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET), under lateral entry scheme conducted by Govt. of Andhra Pradesh.
M.Tech Admission:
The minimum qualification for admission into first year of the M.Tech course [CSE, VLSI & ES (ECE), Power Systems (EEE), Machine Design (Mechanical), Structural Engineering (Civil)] the candidate has to pass B.Tech from any university approved by UGC or equivalent course as per the norms of JNTU Kakinada and Govt. of Andhra Pradesh
• 70 % of the seats are allotted based on the merit in the PG Engineering Common Entrance
Test (PGECET) conducted by Govt. of Andhra Pradesh.
• 30 % of the seats are earmarked for Management / NRI candidates.
